I’m doing something I hate doing: Jumping in at the last minute!
After resolving not to do the challenge this year, thanks to health and other issues, I decided last evening , ‘Well, what’s the harm?’ Of course, I have not thought this through!
But that’s the thing about challenges: They push you to your limits, they help you break out of the comfort zone and in my case, perhaps, bring me back to what I love doing: writing flash/micro fiction.
I am a fish swimming against the current, people: A blue goldfish, if you will! That’s the hint to my theme. Any guesses? No?
With that, I hereby reveal my theme for this year’s A to Z challenge. Ta-da!
For this year’s A to Z Challenge, I’ve taken up the theme of:
An Oxymoron rendered in micro-fiction
I’ll be crafting a short tale (really short) based on the oxymoron of the day. Each day’s title will have one half of the oxymoron while the second half will be revealed towards the end of the post.
That’s not all;
I’ll be attempting to do it in 100 words exactly.
Follow me as I unravel each tale this April. Hey, it’s 100 words. You know you want to read me next month!
